The boxing ring-style pitch competition comes again in 2022, this time in Muscat Pioneer Investors is organizing the first edition of Get in the Ring Oman, whose winner will attend the Global Meetup 2022. Startups shall rhetorically battle each other in a virtual boxing-style ring, before an online audience! Will you be the winning startup with the most promising solution?

1Who are organizing this event?
The global event has been organized by Unknown Group for almost a decade. The battle in Oman will be held by Pioneer investors for the first time.
2Is it online or physical?
The Get in the ring battle in Oman will be online. First, you would apply online on the website and the selected teams (4 teams) will battle online on 6th of July. The winner of the “Get in the ring Oman” will get the permission to go to the “Global meetup” event in the Netherlands.
3What are important dates?
The online application acceptance will end on 24th of June.
The online battle will be on 6th of July.
The “Global meetup” in the Netherland 13th to 15th of November
4What are the required documents for online applications?
There is some regular information about the team, business model, its market, value proposition, and achievements (such as fundraising) that are needed to be filled in the online application form.
5Who are deciding about the teams?
The selection jury will decide about online applicants and choose the battlers between them. 4 teams will be chosen.
The champion jury will judge the battles and choose the final winner between them.
6What is the language of the event?
The language of the event for filling out the online application and the final battle is English.
7Is it free?
The event is completely free.
8What will happen in the online battle?
The selected teams (4 teams) will battle one by one. The ringmaster will ask them questions and they have limited time to answer them. The champion jury will decide the winner of the battle based on their answers.

9What is the outcome of the event?
The final winner of the battle in Oman will be introduced to participate in the final “Global meetup” in the Netherlands and will have a chance to present and network in the global event with potential investors from all around the world. The “Global meetup” will be held on 13th to 15th of November in the Netherlands.
10How long is the final battle?
The final battle will be held on 6th of June. 4 selected teams have this opportunity to attend the battle one by one. Each battle will be approximately 30 minutes.
