Azom startup will launch “AZOM Desert2 Smartphone” in Oman

Pioneers Investors – Azom , specialized in developing, designing and selling electronics, such as smart devices and accessories, has signed a contract with the Omani ABT Company to be its agent in the Sultanate of Oman. Azom will launch its AZOM DESERT2 phone and AZOM BUDS headset in the coming weeks. This company aspires to enhance its expansion in Oman.

It is noteworthy to mention that Azom started in late 2019 and closed an investment round in the first quarter of 2021. Also, AZOM DESERT2 phone was the best-selling mid-range device in Saudi Arabia.

Like the agreement, the executive director of ABT in Amman, Mr. Faris Al-Juma, commented: “We are pleased that Azom’s first step outside Saudi Arabia is in Oman and through us. Our selection of Azom was due to the remarkable performance that the company has achieved in Saudi Arabia.”

The CEO of Azom Company, Mr. Muhammad Al-Munajjim, commented: “I am glad to see Azom spreading in the Middle East. The Omani market is a mature market and we chose Oman because of the many requests we receive from our brothers in the Sultanate. We will be at the trust of this good people by providing all of our products to them as required. We seek to be number one in the sector in the Sultanate during the next three years.”
