Get In The Ring competition in the Sultanate of Oman

Pioneer Investors – Wednesday 6th of July 2022, Pioneer Investors as local representative of “Unknown Group” organized and held the first-ever version of the “Get In The Ring Muscat” competition in the Sultanate of Oman.
The competition was announced at the beginning of June and applicants started to submit their materials on the GITR website. There were 23 applications received from variety of countries rooted in all five continents. After evaluating and studying the applications, the selection jury selected four teams to fight in the ring and to prove their capabilities for winning the competition; Monak E-service and SmartZi from Oman, TerraUnity from Canada, and Carbon Explorer from Iran entered the competition finally.
As the competition started, Ringmaster ran a lottery to decide on the order of competing opponents. The first battle was between Carbon Explorer and TerraUnity, which ended in victory of Carbon Explorer. The second battle took place between Monak and SmartZi and resulted in victory of SmartZi.
In the final stage, called the knockout battle there was an opportunity for each of the two winning startups to convince the jury in a 60 seconds round, they should win the competition. The judging panel eventually chose “Carbon Explorer” and declared the official winner of “Get in the ring Oman” for this year.
It is noteworthy that the winner of the competition will participate in the final Get In The Ring‘s event (Global Meet-up), which takes place in the Netherlands
